how do i do a hw reset in 4.0.1.0?

i changed my volume serial number and mac adress to prevent fingerprinting of my real hw for some ac.
i could restore mac adress to its original state but i can’t remember the old volume id.
now MSE isn’t working, all i need is the full automode for pistols and dmr.
